Country Crackers Charity Calendar

In June 2012, James volunteered his services to create images for the Charity “Country Crackers” calendar in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Twenty women from the small Essex village of Cornish Hall End bared all in support of the charity and spent 3 days with James, to produce 13 photos in various rural locations in and around the village.

Horse and Groom pub owner Kelly Bishop rallied her friends – aged 18 to 54 – to take part in a bid to raise £10,000 for the cancer charity. The calendar was launched at a beer festival held at the pub.

Its launch comes five years after the men of the village did their own version of the calendar – also photographed by James – which raised £5,000 for prostate cancer.

Graphic designer Lisa de Araujo, assisted James with lighting and photo processing.
